Second Snow

Second Snow
Once again we awoke to snow on Saturday morning. With the sun shining bright and the temps on the rise, I knew our window of opportunity for some sledding would be small. We rushed out after breakfast and got in some good runs as the sun worked hard at melting the snow around us. The girls had a blast except when the snow would fly up into their faces on a fast run.

When the girls were done, I took 2 runs on my own...standing on the sled. The first run made me look like I knew what I was doing. The second run had me crash and burn at the bottom. Today I'm nursing a sore neck and shoulder from my wipe-out. I'm getting way too old to be trying stunts like that.

It was good we got out when we did. The snow was all gone and back to green grass by the afternoon.

Good news! I finally finished our Summer slideshow. I'm still working on our NH vacation one, so those picture will be absent from the Summer show. Enjoy. Someday, I'll have to catch a sound bite of Megan singing the chorus of the song I chose. It's pretty cute.

  3. Wood ~ That's a sweet slideshow. Did you use Windows Moviemaker to create that?

  4. Ok oo it looks like I have a program called "Plus! Photo Story" that can do this with the pretty transitions. Might have to try this as well... :)

  5. Yup. It's Photostory 3. I don't use all the bells and whistles, but I like how easy it is. Of course that's coming from an IT guy. Not sure what version you have, but if interested, you (or anyone) can download it here free of charge:
