Flashback - October 2002
We all have places...little dots on the globe that have significant meaning in our lives. They're places you find yourself wanting to visit every so often to reminisce and maybe bring some perspective back into your life.

This lighthouse in Massachusetts is one of those places. Right at the top was where Tanya & I got engaged. It's a long, good story if you haven't heard it already. While we were dating, we spent many hours at this lighthouse and the beach that is across the bay from it. It is a peaceful, beautiful spot that faces out to the Atlantic ocean.

While pregnant with Megan, Tanya & I made a pilgrimage back to New England to take in the Fall foliage. We also planned a trip to visit our lighthouse. It was wonderful walking down memory lane while anticipating the enormous shift our lives would take once Megan arrived 2 months later.

Too bad we don't have any lighthouses in Colorado!

  1. There was an episode of Everwood (ficticious Colorado town) where a a husband built a lighthouse in his backyard for his wife. Maybe you can build a mini one for Tanya!
