After church on Sunday, we decided to head up into the mountains to catch a glimpse of the changing Aspens. It was beautiful and COLD! Last fall, everyone told us we needed to go, but we missed it by a few weekends. Not so this year.
As we drove over Guanella Pass, we found a campground to pull into and hike around. The temperature gauge on our car read 37 degrees and it was quite windy. We bundled up and romped around the forest climbing on rocks and taking pictures.
To get you in the autumn spirit, we'll post a few more fall foliage shots in the days to come!
How beautiful. We totally need to go soon! We also missed it last year and arrived at Estes Park about a week after the leaves dropped!
