...to show you a picture of the new flowerbed we planted on Saturday morning. It was this same morning that my arms got sun-burned and I was pretty dehydrated since it was so hot out.
We had been told by several people to wait until Mother's Day to plant anything and we thought they were crazy. In our minds there was no way it could snow after the consistent warm weather we've been having. It appears we'll be making another trip to the nursery to pick out some new flowers...but this time we'll wait until Mother's Day weekend.
bummer! but it's pretty...and makes me feel better about Santa Barbara's lack of high pressure recently. What happened to global warming??
