Here's a pic of Rocky's present to Megan on the night of his birthday. Megan was one of the first 5000 kids in the door, and so happy to get a new clock. Like good parents we popped some batteries in the next day and set it up on her bedside table.
The other night Tanya & I watched the movie, 'The Island'. Pretty weird movie. Sci-Fi for sure with an interesting plot. If you're into those kinds of movies, you'll probably eat it up. There was one scene...a chase scene...that took place in a factory-like setting. It was loud and intense. During the whole scene we heard this ringing sound, but if you could have been watching the movie, the ringing didn't seem out of place given the circumstances. Well, a few minutes later the chase scene finally slowed down, but the ringing didn't. Alas, we heard Megan yell for us from upstairs.
Somehow, earlier in the day she had managed to set Rocky's alarm for about 9:30pm. Boy was it is LOUD! That is a metal hammer in between the metal bells. No snooze button or easy turn off switch either. Poor Megan is a little traumatized by her clock now. She confirms with us at least once a day that the batteries HAVE been removed.
Poor Megan! Loved the bathing suit role playing story...that is so funny. Miss you guys!!
