When the sleigh ride stopped for the campfire & roasted marshmallows, Zoe didn't like being told that she was too young to have her own stick. So she saw her opportunity to lunge at Megan's fully loaded stick and have it as her own!
Switching gears...
The other day I presented Megan with her first gumball. In her three years on earth, we had never let her try chewing gum. I laid the ground rules down...1. No swallowing the gum down to your tummy 2. When you don't want to chew it any longer, you need to spit it out in the trash. Pretty simple right?
Megan popped the little pink gumball in her mouth with a somewhat tentative smile on her face. A minute later, she had a very happy smile as she enjoyed the chomping on the bubble gum. Shortly thereafter, I looked over to see saliva pouring out of her mouth on to the floor as she chewed. It seemed I needed to add a third rule that it was OK to swallow the 'water' in her mouth!
