Nemo Recap

On Sunday afternoon, we went with Jennifer & Katie to 'Finding Nemo on Ice' at the Denver Coliseum. I had pretty low expectations going into it and was more excited to see Megan's reaction to the show since Nemo is still on her 'cool' radar screen. I was impressed. The show followed the story line and was very entertaining. I liked how the actors played their roles without speaking (the sound was prerecorded). They used their bodies movements and skating to act out their part so well. Megan & Katie were mesmerized, captivated and whatever else you could use to describe their long attention span. On the way out Megan announced that she wanted to 'come back to the show everyday.'
My only disappointment was just how many guys there were walking around trying to sell Nemo junk for 500 times the actual cost. Coloring books, hats, spinny lights...it was all too overwhelming, but fortunately Megan was a champ and didn't seem to notice it all.
