Family

It seems like it was just one or two Christmases ago that we were celebrating in Santa Barbara with Steve and Jennifer and there were no little ones on the scene. Shortly thereafter they surprised us all with the news that they were pregnant with Katie (the first grandchild). Here we are a few years later with a family picture featuring 10 smiling faces! I know it goes without saying that family is special, but its times like this that makes you realize how fortunate one is to have diaper rashes & wrinkles, peach fuzz and gray hairs, crawlers and canes...all under one roof. There is a span of 68 years in this picture and a much greater number of blessings that each smiling face provides.
