Zoe is beginning to look more like she will be walking soon. My prediction is sometime before Christmas. She's been a little bit of a late bloomer with her first 2 teeth just poking through about 2 weeks ago.
Last weekend, we watched the movie, Madagascar. It's a fun movie if you haven't seen it already. One character in the movie is a chinchilla with huge eyes. We've decided Zoe looks a lot like a chinchilla. Sometimes you look at her and her eyes just seem so large. So that's her new nickname until the rest of her head catches up with her eyes.
Tomorrow morning we're heading up into the mountains with 2 other families to cut down our Christmas trees. No, we're not being illegal, we actually have permits issued by the state to head to a certain area and pick any tree for our own. It's supposed to snow which could be really fun or really unfun...all depending on the little ones. We'll take plenty of pictures, so if you check back on Monday, you'll probably be able to tell by the pictures which one it was. We hope to make this an annual tradition.
