Concert at Red Rocks!

For our anniversary back in March, I gave Tanya two tickets to our first ever concert at Red Rocks.  Thankfully she decided to pick me to see the John Adams Band last week.  Who are they you ask?

John Adams sound exactly like the late John Denver and his band was performing a tribute to JD with the Colorado Chamber Orchestra.  It's wild, because if you closed your eyes for a moment, you would no doubt believe that JD was back from the dead and singing right before you.  For many reasons, the music of John Denver is very sentimental for both Tanya & I.  Combine that with the incredible setting at Red Rocks, and there were many a song that produced some teary eyes.



Our seats were close to the stage, but at intermission, we opted to head up higher.  It was cool to look over the stage and see all the city lights in the distance.
