With all that we keep hearing is wrong in our country these days, it is nice to be a part of something so right. On Saturday, we spent the evening in the Dillon Town Park listening to the Air Force Academy Band play some patriotic songs. Yankee Doodle, Star Spangled Banner, and more. My favorite song (which I can't remember the name of it) was one that featured two cadets with their dueling trumpets. They had an entire act built around it and the laughs kept rolling. While the concert wasn't on the 4th, it was by far my favorite Independence Day memory from the weekend.
