Arches National Park

I made my way over to Moab, UT last weekend for a trail race. The race was fun, but the few hours I spent exploring Arches NP after the race was awesome. This place is simply breath-taking and should be seen by all. There are many sights you can see by car, and many more after a very short hike. I went on a mile round-trip hike to see Delicate Arch, which is the famous arch scene on the Utah license plate. Unfortunately, a nasty storm squall whipped up and made getting a good picture impossible.


My second favorite landmark was Balanced Rock. There are so many of these natural wonders throughout the park. I wish I had a few more days to go back in and check them all out. Next year...
