We made it up to Winter Park for what was our best day of skiing as a family. The weather was warm, wind was calm, and the girls had great attitudes all day! We're still learning our way around the ski runs, but now we a have good gist of where we are and where we want to go.
This trip was marked by speed. The girls were going much faster down the slopes than Tanya & I felt comfortable with them going. They were totally in control, could stop when they wanted, and rarely fell as a result. They were even getting in the crouched, aerodynamic position to build velocity. Should we be concerned? We decided that our fear was a natural part of the process and just needed to relax and have fun!
let em go! Gravity will be a naural teacher. Steve and Tanya outskied Galen and myself almost immediately - and Galen was a good skier. Caution will come after they tumble a few times. just enjoy enjoy enjoy!!.
