A day at the museum..
While Tanya was off at a wedding last weekend, the girls and I went back to the Museum of Nature and Science. Our favorite part was donning the white coats and safety glasses in order to conduct some high level experiments. This time around, we performed tests to determine if dousing an organism with either caffeine or the chemical found in sleeping pills would either stimulate or depress it's heartbeat.

I have to tell you that the museum does an amazing job setting up these experiments for kids. The girls only needed a few reminders to follow the instructions presented in the video tutorial. Our findings were that the caffeine barely stimulated the heartbeat, while the sleeping juice almost made it stop!
