Megan's school had its annual "fun run" this past Saturday. Do you agree that the name has to go. When I think of wildcat scat, I think of only one thing!
Despite the name, the event was a festive and happy. This was our first family race! The run was on a 1.5 mile out and back course along a bike path. The girls had been "training" for a few weeks and ran strong! We talked about proper pacing and the girls put all they learned into practice. Megan surprised me by wanting to run up the hills! We decided to break up into two teams (Woody & Megan - Tanya & Zoe). Team "WooMeg" finished in about 18 minutes, while Team "ZoTan" came in just a few minutes later.
We'll be back out there for next year's scat!
