Sweat Shop

I had a project to wrap up at work that involved putting stamps on hundreds of surveys we're going to be distributing to patients. I've been dreading the stamping part, so I brought them home to finish in front of the TV last night.


During dinner I had a brilliant idea! Why don't I offer the job to my sticker-loving daughters? The rate of pay was $0.01 per stamp applied. They were paid with every sheet of 50 they emptied and turned in. Boy did those girls work hard and fast! They had it all done in an hour and were $2.25 & $1.75 richer respectively. I was a nice boss and gave the each a small "hard work" bonus despite Tanya's claim that I was running a sweat shop!
