I went to the record tying Game 3 of the NLDS with some folks from work on Sunday night. The game was supposed to be played on Saturday night, but was postponed due to weather. Cold weather. Game time temps were forecasted to be in the mid-twenties. Yes, we had a little cold & unpleasant weather blow in for the weekend.
Well, Sunday night was not much better. Game time temp was 35(the tied record). I can tell you it got much colder as the innings crept by. I lasted until the top of the 7th, at which point my numb body parts had enough.
The game was fun & lively. We sat behind home plate and had many chances to swing our towels in approval. Unfortunately the Rockies lost by one and did so again last night to end their playoff run.
