On Tuesday, we took the girls up to Clark's Trading Post. Clark's is a mini theme park that features a trained bears performance. They've been performing these bear shows for 60 years!
We arrived at the ring about 15 minutes early and got front row seats. It was about as close as I ever want to come to a bear.
So what do the use to incentivize the bears to perform their tricks?? Ice Cream! You can see the trainer is holding a cone in one hand and a spoon in the other. The bear got many, many spoonfuls during the show. Keep that in mind if you ever encounter a bear out in the wild. You may want to consider carrying an ice cream cone with you.
would moose tracks work or would that only confuse the bear?
