We were treated to a quick visit from Brian & Chantal and their boys last weekend. Brian & I went to high school together and have managed to stay in touch over the years. It's a friendship that I'm totally grateful for.
In our short time together, we managed to have a lot of fun outings. The Aquarium, a kids outdoor concert & a trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Although our outings were enjoyable, I'd have to say the chance to spend more than a few hours together was the true treat. It's probably the most time we've been able to hang out in the last 16 years! Our kids played so well together and it was fun to get to know little Mason (the one with the cool t-shirt) and Brady!

ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure to spend the time with you and the girls. We usually do not get that kind of time with you and are truly grateful that you all remain in our lives even with the distance. We loved every second and the girls are truly special. I know that Mason misses his new "buddies"
