For our last camping outing of the season, we unveiled some new cutlery. We previous had used a mismatch of silverware for our meals and decided we needed a serious upgrade. What could be more appropriate for camping than....Sporks!
Our new set of six sporks were a BIG hit with the girls. I made one BIG mistake though. While standing in Wal-mart picking them out, I decided to get different colors (in the picture you see the only duplicate color). With girls the ages of Megan and Zoe, different colors isn't a good idea. You wouldn't believe how many spats we endured because they didn't get the color they "needed".
I have the same problem with the color thing. Yesterday Katie and Andy were fighting over the colors of the noodles in the pool -- so I made a big loud deal about it and angrily threw the toys out of the pool and told them they would have to do without. Within 5 minutes they were fighting over different colored boogie boards... You just can't win.
