Our girls also loved spending time with Grampie. I can tell that by witnessing the countless times they asked him to do something with them. Whether it was fun play in the water, pointing out anything with a Red Sox logo on it, going out for ice cream...or allowing his infamous "toot machine" to be brought out...they really enjoyed him.
Remember my "toot machine post" from last summer? Well, this time around, we figured out it would be even funnier if we stuck the black box down the backside of the girls pants. As they walked around, one of them would control the remote and launch the fireworks. I was proud of how quickly they realized the laughs increased when the would slowly lean to one side...or bend over to touch their toes.
