Not So Cute Zoe Story...

Last Friday evening, we tackled some outside yard work in the front of our house. As normal, the girls played while I cut the grass. Zoe has this little blue & pink car she sits on and propels with her feet. No steering & no brakes.

For those of you that are familiar with our house, you know our driveway has a steep grade. It's not long, just steep.

I looked up from cutting the grass to see Zoe zipping down our driveway...backwards...completely out of control and heading into the street. She clipped the corner of our grass and shot off the car and landed on her back...on the sidewalk. Ugh.

It was one of those moments that happened so fast, but yet almost in slow-motion. I ran over and thankfully she was fine. Screaming, but fine. She came away with a scratch on the back of her head and a dandy of a cut on her elbow. We are so thankful because it could have been much worse!
