Egg-stra Special Fun!

Egg-stra Special Fun!
Yesterday was Easter...you probably knew that. Did you know we woke up to snow?? That's definitely not the fun I'm referring to in the title. The fun began with Tanya taking Megan to church to sing her heart out with the rest of her Sunday School class up in front. Unfortunately, I missed it due to Zoe's unstoppable runny & goopy nose keeping her home.

That afternoon we had the Heldt's & Bubiers over for a snowy BBQ. The backyard Easter egg hunt was shifted to a basement hunt. It was hectic and great! All my pictures of the hunt turned out blurry because there was so much movement. Since I got to be the Easter Bunny and hide all the eggs, I knew there was one egg that would be the most challenging to find...it was hidden in the toy kitchen microwave.

Who found it?? Lil' Aubrey was the winner in my mind. She made it look like she just wanted to play with the microwave, but I knew she had her "A" game on and decided it wasn't about quantity, but quality & challenge.

  1. We were proud of Aubrey. She was pretty clueless with the event, but would put the eggs in her basket. You could tell that she was wondering why the toys were being untouched with four kids running around.
We had a great time and may need to make Ranch Burgers an Easter tradition. They were delicious!
