Are you like me and remember the days when we used to wear sunglasses like this and think we were amazingly cool? I'm not sure where Tanya's been keeping this pair, but Megan pulled them out and loves to wear them around. Come to find out...they are her Dad's shades from 20+ years ago. Yup, that would date them to the mid-eighties. He used to wear them skiing. They actually have red, white & blue frames with a powder blue strap. Need I say more?

ReplyDeleteWow, the shame I now feel as I remember swiping those and wearing them when I was about 10. Yeah baby, cruisin down the slopes in those groovy neoprene tight ski pants with the flared out wing-tip zippered bottoms... listening to Billy Idol on this new fangled contraption called a walk-man. For you youngsters out there, snowboards had not yet been invented, and walk-men were banned on most mountains for fear that they were too dangerous...
