On Sunday, Megan announced she needed to go potty while standing in the kitchen. Our downstairs bathroom was having problems, so Tanya told her to go upstairs. She immediately responded with "I don't want to go by myself." You see, Megan is a social potty person, so she likes company while she does her business.
Both Tanya & I refused to go, so she turned her attention on Zoe. Here's how she phrased her proposition:
Megan: "Zoe, will you go upstairs with me while I go potty?"
Zoe: -no answer-
Megan: "Zoe, if you come upstairs with me, I might do a green poopie. Will you come?"
Zoe: "Okay."
-Off they went hand in hand up the stairs.-
A week or two ago, Megan produced the above by surprise to us all. Now she looks forward to the possibility of a repeat occurence each trip to the bathroom.
