Our home group Bible study decided to partake in a couple service projects this year in order to put what we believe into practice. This time around we hooked up with Samaritan's Purse, which is an organization that sends shoe boxes filled with gifts to children around the world that would not otherwise get anything this Christmas. Last night we all brought fun and practical items to fill the boxes with and assembled them together. We had a great time and are thankful that we took the opportunity to give. As Megan put it after we were done, "these are going to the end of the world!" (posted by Tanya)

Beautiful people with beautiful hearts! The mantle looks beautiful also!
ReplyDeleteI walked into our playroom today and asked Megan what she was doing. She had about 15 "little people" jammed into one room of her doll house. She replied, "Daddy, we are having home group!"
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun. Anna gets SO excited about Wednesday nights at our house and often walks around talking about how "growth group is coming."
