We went trick-or-treating in the Rhodes' neighborhood this year. We ventured out into the cold night air and went to about ten houses where the kids got a ton of candy (of which I am eating as I write this post!). After each house Megan ran back back down the walkway shouting "Mommy and Daddy, they gave me candy!" The thrill and surprise never wore off. Zoe on the other hand was a little slower going. When she got close to the door, she saw the open door as an invitation to go on inside. We had to stop her twice from walking right past the person with the bowl of candy.

ReplyDeleteWe had a few kids make it in our house on Halloween too. I don't blame them for wanting to get out of the cold!
Last year a couple of little kids dashed into our house too! The little ones are always my favorite trick-or-treaters though, they are adorable! Megan and Zoe look GREAT!
