Recap

There's actually not much to recap from this weekend. It was very mellow which was quite nice. Homegroup, jogging, yardwork, hit up a couple parks, watched King Kong & a painful visit to the HR Home & Garden Expo.

We thought we'd make a quick stop by the expo in hopes of getting some ideas about how to fix a shade problem on our deck. Most the exhibitors were spread around the suspended track at one of the rec centers. We started our lap around the track avoiding eye contact with anyone in fear of getting lured into hearing about some product or service we didn't want or need. At about the 1/4 lap mark, we got trapped by a home security salesman and suffered through the entire pitch. Finally, we broke free followed by breaking into a sprint to get out of there as fast as we could.
