Preschool continues to be a success for Megan. Last Friday was Western Day. She got all decked out...Ok, mainly just put on a pink bandana and headed off. In class, they colored their own cloth bandanas and had a campfire cookout.
Interestingly, this day was right in the middle of the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo. This is a two week long annual tradition in the Denver area. Tanya & the girls went with the Craig's on Saturday to check it out. It's funny realizing that we live in a part of the country that is very different from anything we've experience before...farm & cowboy country. When you think of Denver, you tend to think of what is West of the city...the mountains. Where everything East of the metro area is flat and farmy. Tanya loved the stock show because it reminded her of the days when she used to have a horse.
Which reminds ME of how Amigo scared me to death when Tanya took me on a ride with her when I was a wee lad. Of course my other traumatic experience on a horse with brother Mike didn't help. Amigo and avocados...that was one cool hillside!
