We spent the weekend in beautiful Estes Park getting to know new people at our annual church retreat. Our church rocks. It's Aspen Grove Community Church. It was really cool to be in the mountains and see elk grazing everywhere we went. We were led this weekend by Dave Runyion (sp?) from Foothills Church in Arvada. He focused on getting our head knowledge about our faith to move down to our hearts. It was impactful.
Interesting - in NVC the focus is to talk from your heart, not your head.
